Supply Chain Administrative Assistant

Hybrid | Twin Cities Area
$25/hour | Contract-to-Hire


Overview

Growing manufacturing organization seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Administrative Assistant to support purchasing, production planning, and ERP data management. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of supply chain, procurement, or operations experience who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

Purchasing / Procurement Support

  • Create, update, and track purchase orders (POs) in ERP system
  • Monitor order acknowledgements, pricing, lead times, supplier confirmations
  • Follow up with vendors on open orders, discrepancies, and expediting
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier documentation

Production Planning / Scheduling

  • Update demand planning, supply signals, and inventory data
  • Track work orders, material availability, and production timelines
  • Coordinate with operations, buyers, and planning teams
  • Run reports (Excel/ERP) to support supply-demand alignment

Data Management / Administrative

  • Maintain ERP master data (part numbers, BOMs, vendors, lead times)
  • Perform data entry, reporting, and supply chain admin support
  • Identify and escalate data discrepancies, system gaps, inaccuracies

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1-3 years in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, or production planning
  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Strong Excel skills (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/basic formulas)
  • High attention to detail, data accuracy, and process compliance
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Monday-Friday | Day shift
  • Hybrid after training (one onsite day/week)
  • Equipment provided
